The Denver PCC met on November 18th to review various church matters. Key updates include the formal adoption of four important policies (Social Media, Complaints, Conflicts of Interest, and Visiting Bell Ringers), a confirmed 96% compliance with Safeguarding requirements, and the formal agreement to use uCheck as the new DBS provider.
The meeting also confirmed plans for the Christmas Tree Festival, discussed Churches Together activities, and noted the children's involvement in the Harvest Festival and upcoming Christmas services (Christingle on Dec 1st, Carol Service on Dec 19th). The children will also be asked to decorate the Christmas Tree this year. The PCC also agreed to help Denver School celebrate its 150th anniversary by collecting memories from church members.
Further topics included the need to explore options for upgrading the church's heating system and the search for a new architect.
