Exploring Authorised Lay Ministry
Authorised Lay Ministers (ALMs) are trained lay people, active in church life, who have a particular vocation, special interest, or skill, that can be an integral part of their church’s ministry.
If you feel that God is drawing you into lay ministry, why not come along to one of the online Explorers evenings and find out more about the range of lay ministry roles available across the diocese. Authorised Lay Ministry is one way in which the diocese resources and empowers lay people to grow in their vocation to serve and minister in their communities and churches. They are highly valued in the Diocese of Ely and have a crucial part in the success of the Diocesan Strategy.
