Act of Remembrance

These files are available to help in planning a standalone Act of Remembrance.

Act of Remembrance Liturgy, A4 - A version of the liturgy we use on a single A4 sheet
Act of Remembrance Liturgy, A4 Folded - A version of the liturgy we use that can be used as a congregational handout
Act of Remembrance Liturgy, A5 - A version of the liturgy we use that can be used as a congregational handout
Act of Remembrance.mp3 - This is an mp3 file that is made up of the Last Post, followed by 2 minutes of silence and then the Reveille
Last Post.mp3 - This is an mp3 file of the Last Post
Online Remembrance - Google Sheets - This is a presentation that can be used for online Act of Remembrances
Reveille.mp3 - This is an mp3 file of the Reveille

The mp3 files are used under Creative Commons agreements allowing us to use them freely.

These files are available for Baptism services in the Ouse Valley Benefice.

Family Service with Baptism
This is based on the standard Church of England Baptism service for use within a Service of the Word service. It uses the alternative wording for the decision and the profession of faith.
Ouse Valley Standalone Baptism
This service is used for baptisms that do not take place within a normal Sunday morning service.

The versions that are currently available include the full service of Holy Communion and the shortened version based on the Home Communion service.

These files are available to help when including covenant service liturgy into a service:

Covenant Service - This is the document that we have drawn the liturgy from and has been used for a full covenant service in Anglican and Methodist joint services
Covenant Service [Kobo] - This is a version for downloading to an ereader. It should be downloaded as a PDF.
Covenant Service - Printed Version - This is the print version for congregations
Covenant Service - Voices Version - This is a print version for the readers who are taking part. It assumes one leader with three additional voices.
Methodist Covenant Service.pdf - This is a PDF of the full Methodist Covenant Service that can be found in the Methodist Worship book.

This order of service is suitable for harvest celebration services. it consists of the following files.

Harvest Celebration - Congregational copy of the order of service (A4 portrait folded).
Harvest Celebration (Kobo) - e-eader version of the leaders order of service.
Harvest Celebration - Leaders Copy - This contains additional leaders works that are not in the congegational copy. This allows for flexibility for the service leader.

This order of service and bible readings was used for our standard Harvest Evensong at Ryston Church in 2022.

These files are available for Morning Worship services in the Ouse Valley Benefice.

Code of Safer Working Practice - This document is referred to in the Safeguarding Provision for 3rd Parties form.
Safeguarding Provision for 3rd Parties - This form must be completed by 3rd parties wishing to use our premises. It ensures that their safeguarding policies are in line with those of the Ouse Valley Benefice.
